The 2012 Truck of the Year award-winning Actros series is the flagship of the world's leading truck manufacturer, Daimler. Its latest instalment, the rear-wheel drive Actros 1851 GigaSpace runs on a 12.8-liter 6-cylinder turbo-charged engine generating 510hp and is used for long-distance haulage, heavy duty distribution haulage, construction haulage and so on.

The Tamiya 1/14 scale R/C kit faithfully captures all the detail of the full size rig using ABS plastic for the body parts and a 3-speed, shift on the fly working transmission.

The model features a metal ladder frame with the motor and transmission positioned in the front

3-Speed Transmission allows gear shifting to be controlled during driving for added realism
Cabin tilts forward just like the full-sized truck
Install the Multi Function Control Unit (MFC-01, available separately) to provide sound effects such as attaching/detaching any of the currently available trailers, as well as other easily distinguishable truck sounds

My first ever truck... love the look of it and have to say its FANTASTIC... took me 2 weeks to build and paint..the results are absolutely amazing and put together with the frozen delivery trailer totally completes this truck. The detail is brilliant and anyone who thinks about getting one....... just do it !
